Archiving Membership Tiers

Hide tiers you no longer want to offer, and restore them when you're ready.

Archiving a tier hides it from new subscribers without deleting it. This is useful when you want to stop offering a tier but don't want to lose its history or affect current members.

How to Archive a Tier

  1. Go to My Tribe in your dashboard sidebar.
  2. Click Membership Tiers.
  3. Find the tier you want to archive.
  4. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the tier card.
  5. Select Archive.

The tier will immediately be marked as archived and appear dimmed on your tiers page. New fans will no longer be able to subscribe to it.

Existing Members

Archiving a tier does not cancel existing memberships. Members who are already subscribed to an archived tier will keep their access and continue to be billed as normal until they cancel.

How to Spot Archived Tiers

Archived tiers are easy to identify on your Membership Tiers page. They appear with reduced visibility (slightly faded) and display an "Archived" label in the top left corner of the tier card.

How to Unarchive a Tier

If you change your mind and want to offer a tier again:

  1. Go to Membership Tiers.
  2. Find the archived tier.
  3. Click the three-dot menu.
  4. Select Unarchive.

The tier will be restored and new fans can subscribe to it again.

When to Archive vs. Edit

Archive a tier when you want to stop offering it entirely. For example, if you ran a limited-time tier or want to simplify your offerings.

Edit a tier when you just want to change its name, price, or benefits but keep it available. See Editing Tiers for details.
