Coaching
Sell one-on-one sessions. Set your availability, take payment, and let people book, reschedule and cancel without emailing you.
Coaching turns your time into a product. You list the kind of session you want to run (a vocal lesson, a production review, a strategy call), set the days and hours you are open, and your audience picks a free slot and pays in one flow. The booking lands in your dashboard with the person's name, email, session time, where it happens, and the total.
In your dashboard this lives under Scheduling, with Products and Bookings underneath it.
What you can do
- Create a session type. A named session with a title, cover image, description, duration and price.
- Set your availability. Pick the days of the week you are open and the time ranges within each day.
- Set a minimum notice. Stop anyone booking a slot that starts sooner than you can prepare for.
- Control your booking window. Choose how far in advance people can book and how much buffer to leave between sessions.
- Block out specific dates. Switch off holidays, trips or one-off busy days on top of your regular schedule.
- Say where sessions happen. A meeting link, a street address, or a video call on your own site.
- Set a cancellation policy. Decide whether people can cancel or move their own session, and by when.
- Ask questions up front. Add a questionnaire so people tell you what they want to work on before you meet.
- Take bookings and payment in one flow, discount codes included.
- Move or call off a session yourself. Reschedule from the bookings list, or cancel with an optional refund.
- Let people manage their own sessions. They sign in on your site and reschedule or cancel within your policy.
- Let reminders run themselves. TribeNest emails you and your client before each session, with the calendar invite attached.
Coaching, courses, or memberships?
Coaching is for live, scheduled time with one person. If you are selling a self-paced video lesson library, that is a course. If you want to sell ongoing access to perks, that is a membership.
How it fits together
Creating a coaching product
Title, description, cover image, price, duration, minimum notice, location and cancellation policy.
Setting availability
The days and time ranges you are open, your time zone, blocked days, and the booking window.
Managing bookings
See what is coming up, set a location for one session, reschedule, cancel and refund.
How clients manage their own sessions
The sessions area on your site where people reschedule, cancel and add the session to their calendar.
How it works
- Create a session type. Give it a clear title and description, set a price and pick a duration.
- Set your availability. Choose the weekdays and time windows you are open, your time zone, and how far ahead people can book.
- Say where it happens, and what your cancellation policy is. Both travel with every booking.
- Share the link. Feature the session on your website, pin it to a smart link, or send it out in an email.
- Take bookings. Your audience picks an open slot, enters their name and email, applies a discount code if they have one, and pays. The slot is held for them while they check out.
- Show up. The booking appears under Scheduling then Bookings with all the details. Your client gets a confirmation with a calendar invite attached, and you both get reminders before it starts.
Connect a payment provider first
You will not be able to take paid bookings until you have connected a payment account in your settings. See operations for the setup walkthrough.
