Setting Availability
Choose the days and time ranges you are open for coaching, your time zone, and how far ahead people can book.
Your availability is what turns a coaching product into actual bookable time slots. You tell the platform which weekdays you are open and the time ranges within each day, and it generates the slot grid your audience picks from.
Availability lives on every coaching product. Two different sessions can have completely different schedules — for example, you might do songwriting consults on Tuesdays and mixing reviews on Thursdays.
Where to set availability
Availability lives inside the Create Product and Edit Product screens, alongside the title, description, and price.
- Go to Coaching then Products in your dashboard.
- Either click Create Product to start fresh, or click the menu on an existing session and pick Edit Product.
- Scroll down to the Time zone and Availability days sections.
Save the product (or update it) for your changes to take effect.
Time zone
Pick the time zone you want your availability to be based in. Your local time zone is selected automatically when you create a new product, but you can change it from the dropdown.
Your audience sees the slots in their own time zone — the platform converts your hours to theirs automatically. So if you set yourself open from 18:00 to 20:00 in your time zone and someone books from another time zone, they will see the slot displayed in their local time.
Travelling or moving?
If you change time zones temporarily — for tour, a trip, or a move — update the time zone on each coaching product so your availability tracks where you actually are.
Availability days
This is where you define the weekly schedule. Each entry is one open block on one day of the week, with a start time and an end time.
Adding a time block
- Click Add Day in the Availability days section.
- Pick a day of the week from the dropdown — Sunday through Saturday.
- Enter a From time (when you open) and a To time (when you close).
Add as many blocks as you need. There is no limit.
Multiple blocks on the same day
You can add more than one block on the same day — useful if you take a midday break.
For example, on a Tuesday:
- One block from 09:00 to 12:00
- A second block from 14:00 to 18:00
The platform generates slots in both windows but skips the 12:00–14:00 gap.
Blocks on the same day cannot overlap
If you add two blocks for Wednesday and one runs 09:00–12:00 and another runs 11:00–13:00, the form will block you from saving — the time ranges overlap. Adjust them so they do not collide.
Removing a time block
Click the trash icon next to the block to remove it. Make sure you have at least one block remaining — every coaching product needs at least one availability block to be bookable.
Time format
Times are entered in 24-hour format (HH:MM):
- 09:00 for 9:00 AM
- 13:30 for 1:30 PM
- 18:00 for 6:00 PM
The To time must be later than the From time within the same block.
How slots are generated
The platform combines your availability days with the Duration and Time between meetings values from your coaching product to build the slot grid.
For a 1-hour session with no buffer, an open block of 09:00–12:00 produces three slots: 09:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
For the same window with a 30-minute buffer, you get two slots: 09:00 and 10:30 — each 1-hour session is followed by a 30-minute gap before the next one can start.
Slots only appear if the full session (and its buffer) fits inside your block. A 30-minute leftover at the end of a window will not show up as a half-length slot.
How far ahead can people book?
The How far in advance can people book? field on the product (in days) controls how many days into the future the booking calendar reaches. The default is 30 days; you can set anything from 1 to 365.
Your audience can flip forward week by week through the calendar up to that limit, but no further.
Slots already booked
Any slot that has already been booked — even one that is still being held during checkout — is hidden from other people. So you do not need to manually block out booked time. The platform handles it.
If a checkout times out without payment (the customer has 15 minutes), the slot is released back into the calendar automatically.
Blocking out time you cannot work
There is no separate "blackout dates" form. To block out a specific day or window — for example, you are travelling for a week, or you have a recording session on Thursday afternoon — adjust your availability blocks for that period.
A few common patterns:
- Taking a week off — temporarily edit the product and remove your availability blocks for those days, then add them back when you return. Or shorten your booking window so the time off falls outside it.
- One-off conflict — if a customer happens to book a slot during a window you cannot make, contact them directly and reschedule.
- Recurring unavailability — if you can never do Mondays, just do not add any blocks for Monday in the first place.
Heads up
Anyone who has already booked a slot during a window you later remove keeps their booking — the change only affects new bookings.
