Creating a Post

Posts are the heart of your community. They're how you share exclusive content with your members and keep them engaged between releases.

How to Create a Post

1. Go to My Tribe in your dashboard sidebar.
2. Click Posts.
3. Click the Create New button.
4. Choose a Post Type (Image, Video, or Audio).
5. Write a Caption to go along with your content.
6. Optionally, choose which Membership Tiers can see this post.
7. Upload your media file.
8. Click Create Post.

Step-by-Step Details

Choosing a Post Type

Select the type of media you want to share. Your choice determines what file formats you can upload:

• Image -- Upload JPG or PNG files
• Video -- Upload MP4, MOV, or WebM files
• Audio -- Upload MP3 or WAV files

You must select a post type before you can upload a file.

Writing a Caption

Your caption is the text that appears above your media. It can be a description, a story, a question, or anything you want to say to your members. Captions must be between 5 and 1,000 characters.

Choosing Membership Access

You can restrict who sees your post by selecting one or more membership tiers. Only members subscribed to the selected tiers will be able to view the post.

Leave this field blank to make the post public -- visible to everyone, including non-members. See Restricting Access for more details.

Uploading Media

After selecting your post type, click the file upload area to select a file from your device. You'll see a preview of your content before publishing:

• Images show a thumbnail preview
• Videos show a playable video preview
• Audio shows a playback player

A progress bar will appear while your file uploads. Wait for the upload to finish before clicking Create Post.

After Creating a Post

Once your post is created, it appears in your posts feed and becomes visible to the members you've granted access to. You can:

• Edit the post to update the caption or tier access
• Add it to a collection to group it with related content
• Archive it if you want to hide it later
