Post Types

Understand the different types of posts you can create -- image, video, and audio.

TribeNest supports three types of posts, each designed for a different kind of content. Choosing the right type helps your fans get the best experience.

Image Posts

Image posts are perfect for sharing photos, artwork, behind-the-scenes snapshots, or any visual content.

Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG

Best for:

  • Behind-the-scenes photos
  • Album artwork or cover reveals
  • Tour photos and memories
  • Promotional graphics
  • Handwritten notes to fans

Tip

High-quality images look best. Use clear, well-lit photos that represent your brand.

Video Posts

Video posts let you share recorded performances, vlogs, tutorials, or any video content with your members.

Supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM

Best for:

  • Acoustic performances and live sessions
  • Studio vlogs and day-in-the-life content
  • Tutorials and how-to videos
  • Unreleased music videos or previews
  • Personal messages to your community

Videos play directly in the post feed, so your fans don't need to leave the page to watch.

Audio Posts

Audio posts are ideal for sharing music, voice messages, podcasts, or sound recordings.

Supported formats: MP3, WAV

Best for:

  • Unreleased tracks and demos
  • Acoustic recordings
  • Voice messages and updates
  • Podcast episodes
  • Song stems or samples

Audio posts include a built-in player that lets members play and pause right from the post.

Choosing the Right Type

Think about what you're sharing and pick the type that matches:

Mixing It Up

Variety keeps your community engaged. Try alternating between different post types to give your fans a rich and dynamic experience.

Collections for Multi-Item Content

If you want to share a mix of images, videos, and audio in one place, consider creating a collection. Collections let you bundle multiple items of different types into a single, organized group.
