Archiving Events
How to archive past events to keep your dashboard organized.
Once an event is over, you can archive it to keep your events list tidy. Archiving does not delete anything -- it simply hides the event from your active list so you can focus on what is coming up next.
How to archive an event
- Go to Events in your dashboard sidebar.
- Open the event you want to archive.
- Click the menu button (the three dots icon in the top-right corner).
- Select Archive.
The event will be marked as archived and appear grayed out.
What happens when you archive an event
- The event is visually marked as "Archived" on your dashboard.
- Tickets for the event can no longer be purchased.
- All existing order data, attendee information, and emails are preserved. Nothing is lost.
- You can still view the event's details, tickets, and orders.
How to unarchive an event
Changed your mind? You can bring an event back at any time.
- Find the archived event in your Events List.
- Open the event.
- Click the menu button.
- Select Unarchive.
The event will be restored to its active state, and tickets will be available for purchase again (as long as they have not sold out or expired).
Archiving is a great way to keep your workspace clean without losing any data. Think of it as putting past events in a folder rather than throwing them away.
Tips for managing past events
- Archive events as soon as they are over to keep your list focused on upcoming ones.
- Before archiving, consider sending a follow-up email to your attendees with a thank-you or highlights from the event.
- You can always revisit archived events to check past orders or attendee information.
