Creating a Product

Add physical or merch products to your store with images, descriptions, and pricing.

Selling merch is one of the best ways to connect with your fans and earn income. Whether it is t-shirts, hoodies, posters, or vinyl records, TribeNest makes it easy to list products in your store.

How to Create a Product

  1. Go to Store then Products in your dashboard.
  2. Click the Create Product button.
  3. Fill in the product details (covered below).
  4. Click Save to add the product to your store.

Product Details

Here is what you will fill in when creating a product:

Title

Give your product a clear, descriptive name. This is what fans will see when browsing your store. For example, "World Tour 2025 T-Shirt" is better than just "T-Shirt."

Description

Write a description that helps fans understand what they are getting. Include details like:

  • What the product is made of (e.g., 100% cotton)
  • What makes it special (e.g., limited edition, hand-signed)
  • Any sizing or care information

Keep it conversational and authentic. Your fans are buying from you, so let your personality come through.

Images

Great product photos make a huge difference in sales. Here is what to keep in mind:

  • Upload at least one clear, well-lit photo of your product.
  • You can upload multiple images to show different angles or details.
  • Supported formats are JPG and PNG.
  • Use a clean background so the product stands out.

Photo tip

If you do not have a professional camera, a smartphone with good lighting works great. Natural daylight near a window gives the best results.

Price

Set the price you want to charge for your product. Consider your costs (production, shipping materials) and what your fans are willing to pay.

You can choose which currency to display your price in based on your account settings.

Inventory

Track how many units you have available. When a product sells out, it will automatically show as unavailable in your store. You can update your inventory count at any time as you restock.

Keep your inventory updated

Make sure to update your inventory count when you receive new stock. If your inventory hits zero, fans will not be able to purchase the product until you add more.

Publishing Your Product

After filling in all the details, you can choose to:

  • Publish immediately — Your product goes live in your store right away.
  • Save as draft — Keep the product saved but hidden from your store. You can publish it later when you are ready.

Editing a Product

You can update any product details after creating it:

  1. Go to Store then Products.
  2. Click on the product you want to edit.
  3. Make your changes.
  4. Click Save.

Changes are reflected in your store immediately. Orders that were already placed will not be affected by your edits.
