Digital products are files that fans can download immediately after purchase — no shipping required. They are a great way to earn passive income because you create them once and sell them unlimited times.
What You Can Sell as Digital Products
The possibilities are wide open. Here are some popular ideas:
- Sample packs and drum kits
- Presets for DAWs or plugins
- Sheet music or tablature
- E-books or guides
- Exclusive photos or wallpapers
- Video tutorials or masterclasses
- Stems and project files

Creating a Digital Product
- Go to Store then Products in your dashboard.
- Click Create Product.
- Select Digital Product as the product type.
- Fill in the product details:
- Title — A clear name for your product (e.g., "Lo-Fi Hip Hop Sample Pack Vol. 1").
- Description — Explain what is included, how fans can use it, and why they will love it.
- Images — Upload a cover image or preview graphic. Even though it is a digital product, visuals help sell it.
- Price — Set your price, or make it free to grow your audience.
- Upload the digital file that fans will receive after purchase.
- Click Save to publish your product.
Supported File Types
You can upload virtually any file type as a digital product. Common formats include:
- Audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF
- Documents: PDF
- Archives: ZIP, RAR (great for bundling multiple files together)
- Images: JPG, PNG, TIFF
- Video: MP4, MOV
Bundle your files
If your digital product includes multiple files (like a sample pack with dozens of sounds), package them into a single ZIP file before uploading. This gives your fans one clean download instead of many individual files.
How Delivery Works
When a fan purchases your digital product, here is what happens:
- The fan completes their purchase through your store.
- They receive a confirmation with a download link.
- They click the link to download the file to their device.
You do not need to do anything — delivery is completely automatic.
No inventory limits
Unlike physical products, digital products never run out of stock. Once you upload your file, unlimited fans can purchase and download it.
Updating a Digital Product
If you need to update the file (for example, adding new samples to a pack or fixing an error):
- Open the product from your Products page.
- Upload the new version of the file, replacing the existing one.
- Click Save.
Fans who already purchased the product may be able to download the updated version.
Pricing Tips for Digital Products
- Consider your audience — Fans who are fellow creators may pay more for high-quality production tools.
- Offer a free product — A free sample pack or guide is a great way to attract new fans and grow your audience.
- Bundle for value — Combine several related items into one product at a slightly higher price. Fans love getting a deal.
- Test different prices — Try different price points and see what resonates with your audience.
