Managing Tracks
Edit track details, reorder tracks in your albums, and remove tracks from your catalog.
After uploading your music, you may need to make changes. Whether you want to fix a typo in a track title, rearrange your album tracklist, or remove a track entirely, TribeNest makes it simple.
Editing Track Details
- Go to Store then Music in your dashboard.
- Find the track you want to edit. You can browse your catalog or use the search bar.
- Click on the track to open its details page.
- Update any of the following fields:
- Track Title
- Artist Name
- Genre
- Description
- Price
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Your changes will be reflected in your store immediately.
Already sold copies?
Editing track details will not affect fans who have already purchased the track. They will keep the version they downloaded. However, new purchasers will see the updated information.
Reordering Tracks in an Album
The order your tracks appear in matters. Here is how to rearrange them:
- Go to Store then Music in your dashboard.
- Open the album you want to reorganize.
- In the track list, drag and drop tracks to rearrange them into your preferred order.
- Click Save to confirm the new track order.
The updated order will be reflected everywhere the album appears in your store.
Replacing an Audio File
If you need to upload a new version of a track (for example, a remastered version):
- Open the track's details page.
- Look for the Replace Audio option.
- Upload the new audio file.
- Confirm the replacement.
Replacing audio
When you replace an audio file, the new version replaces the old one everywhere. Fans who already purchased the track will get the updated version on their next download.
Removing a Track
If you need to remove a track from your store:
- Go to Store then Music in your dashboard.
- Find the track you want to remove.
- Click the options menu (three dots) next to the track.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm that you want to remove the track.
If the track is part of an album, removing it will also remove it from that album's tracklist.
This cannot be undone
Deleting a track permanently removes it from your store. Fans who already purchased the track will still have their downloaded copies, but the track will no longer be available for new purchases.
Viewing Track Performance
On each track's details page, you can see basic performance information like the number of times it has been purchased. Use this information to understand what your fans love most and guide your future releases.
