Setting Up Your Profile
Create your TribeNest profile by choosing a name and claiming your unique web address.
After creating your account, the next step is to set up your profile. Your profile is your creative identity on TribeNest -- it's the space where you interact with your fans, publish content, and run your business.
What You'll Need
- Your account (created in the previous step)
- A name for your profile (your artist name, brand name, or creator name)
Creating Your Profile
When you log in for the first time, TribeNest will automatically ask you to create a profile. Here's how it works:
- Enter your Profile Name. This is the name your fans will see. It could be your artist name, band name, or any name you go by as a creator.
- Choose your Subdomain. This becomes your unique web address on TribeNest. For example, if you choose "aurora", your site will be live at
aurora.tribenest.co. - Click Create Profile.
Choose your subdomain carefully -- it becomes part of your web address. Pick something short, memorable, and easy to spell. TribeNest will check that it's available as you type.
Tips for Choosing Your Profile Name
- Use your known name. If fans already know you by a specific name, use that. Consistency across platforms helps people find you.
- Keep it simple. Shorter names are easier to remember and share.
- Think long-term. Pick a name that will still feel right a year from now.
Tips for Choosing Your Subdomain
Your subdomain is the first part of your web address (the part before .tribenest.co). Here are some tips:
- Match your profile name when possible. If your profile is "Aurora Music", a subdomain like
aurora-musicmakes sense. - Avoid special characters. Stick to letters, numbers, and hyphens.
- Keep it short. Your fans will be typing this into their browsers, so the shorter the better.
Some subdomains are reserved and can't be used. If you see a message that your chosen subdomain is invalid, try a different variation.
Managing Multiple Profiles
TribeNest supports multiple profiles under one account. This is useful if you manage more than one project or brand. You can switch between profiles at any time using the profile switcher at the top of your dashboard sidebar.
Each profile has its own:
- Web address
- Membership tiers and members
- Store, events, and courses
- Website and settings
What's Next?
With your profile created, you'll land on your dashboard where TribeNest will guide you through the remaining setup steps.
