AI credits
The shared balance behind Mira and every other AI feature, with a free amount each cycle and top-ups that never expire.
Every AI feature in TribeNest spends from one balance. Mira spends it when you chat with her and when she runs your briefings. The concierge on your website spends it answering visitors. AI steps inside your automations spend it. So does the code editor.
The AI Credits tab under Billing is where you see that balance as a whole, find out what has been draining it, and top it up.
Where to find it
- Open Billing in your dashboard.
- Click the AI Credits tab.
Your balance
The card at the top leads with your AI credits balance, the single number that matters, and reminds you it is shared across Mira, the code editor, automations and the rest.
Underneath, that number is split into the two halves it is made of.
Free this period
Your plan grants a free amount of AI credits every billing cycle. This side shows how much of that is left against how much you were granted, with a bar filling up as you spend, and the note that it resets every billing cycle.
Anything unused at the end of the cycle does not carry over. This is the one AI balance that is genuinely use it or lose it.
Free credits are spent first
TribeNest always draws on your free allowance before touching credits you have bought. That way a top-up stretches as far as it possibly can.
Purchased
Credits from packs you have bought. This side shows the number and, beneath it, the only thing you really need to know about them: they never expire. They carry across cycles and are only reached once the free allowance is gone.
Going into overdraft
A single long piece of work can occasionally cost more than the free allowance had left in it. When that happens, instead of showing you a confusing negative number, the free side tells you plainly how far into overdraft you went and that it is cleared at the next reset.
There is nothing for you to pay off. The overdraft disappears when your cycle turns over.
Where your credits went
Below the balance sit two views of your spending, and a 7d, 30d and 90d switch controlling the window both of them use. Thirty days is selected when you arrive.
The breakdown
Where credits went lists every kind of AI work that has drawn on your balance in the window, biggest first. Each row shows a colour dot, the name, how many times it ran, the credits it used, and what percentage of your spend that is, with a small bar underneath making the proportions obvious.
The kinds you may see:
- Mira chat, your conversations with her.
- Morning briefing, the daily sweep she runs for you.
- Anomaly scan, the checks that run between briefings.
- Board report, the weekly evaluation of goals that are behind.
- Specialist, the focused hand-offs Mira makes for heavier tasks.
- Website concierge, the assistant answering questions on your public site.
- Automations, AI steps running inside your automations.
- Code editor, work done on a custom-code website.
If nothing has run in the window, the card says so rather than showing an empty chart.
The chart
Credits used over time puts the same window on a bar chart, one bar per day. Hover any bar to see the exact date and credit total. This is the fastest way to tell a steady burn apart from one expensive afternoon.
One category dominating is useful information
If Anomaly scan or Morning briefing is eating most of your balance, those are settings you control rather than costs you are stuck with. Adjust them from Mira's own settings. See daily briefings.
Buying credits
- Open Billing and click the AI Credits tab.
- Click Buy credits.
- Pick a pack from the list. Each shows its name, how many credits it holds, the price, and the cost per credit so you can compare them fairly.
- Click Buy on the one you want.
- Complete the secure checkout you are sent to.
Credits land as soon as payment clears, work across every AI feature rather than being tied to the one you bought them for, and never expire.
If the dialog tells you packs are not configured yet, contact support and we will sort you out.
Your purchase history
Purchase history, beside the Buy credits button, opens the full list of AI credit purchases you have made.
For the detail behind individual charges, rather than the roll-up on this tab, click View detailed activity at the bottom. That takes you to Mira's own usage view, where every charge is listed one by one with timestamps, and specialist hand-offs are nested under the chat turn that caused them.
