Daily briefings

Tell Mira when to brief you, where to deliver the findings, and how chatty to be.

A daily briefing is Mira's morning sweep of your tribe. Once a day at the time you choose, she pulls the most important things she found and writes them up — short enough to read in a minute, specific enough to act on.

You can turn briefings on or off, choose your time and timezone, pick how the briefing arrives, tune how sensitive Mira's anomaly scanner is, and cap how many findings she's allowed to surface in a day.

Opening briefing preferences

  1. Open Mira from the sidebar.
  2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the chat.
  3. Choose Settings.

You'll land on the Briefing preferences page. Anything you change takes effect on the next briefing cycle, not the current one.

Renaming Mira

At the top of the page you'll see the Agent name field. This is what your copilot calls itself everywhere — in chat, in the dashboard banner, and in the email digest. Type a new name and click Save preferences at the bottom of the page.

Names can be up to 40 characters and accept letters, numbers, spaces, dots, underscores, apostrophes, and hyphens.

Turning the daily briefing on or off

The big toggle under Daily briefing controls whether Mira runs her morning sweep. Off means no briefing, no banner, and — importantly — no hourly anomaly scans either. Turn it back on whenever you want her watching again.

When the toggle is on, the rest of the briefing controls show up below it.

Picking a time and timezone

  • Briefing time — A 24-hour time picker. Mira rounds to the nearest 15 minutes.
  • Timezone — The timezone the briefing time is interpreted in. Pick the one that matches when you're most likely to read it.

Example: set 08:00 in America/New_York, and Mira will deliver every morning at 8 AM Eastern, automatically handling daylight saving shifts.

Choosing delivery channels

Briefings can land in two places — pick either or both.

  • In-admin banner + inbox — A coloured banner shows up across the top of your dashboard with the highest-priority finding from the briefing. The full set lands in your Insights inbox.
  • Email digest — A single email per briefing summarising what Mira found. Goes to the email on your account.

If you turn both off, Mira still runs the briefing — but you won't see the result anywhere except the insights inbox. Most people leave at least one channel on.

Anomaly sensitivity

Between briefings, Mira runs hourly anomaly scans against a rolling baseline of your metrics. Sensitivity controls how unusual something has to be before she flags it.

  • Low — Only flag big, obvious deviations. Rarer alerts.
  • Medium — Default. Catches most things worth knowing about.
  • High — Flag smaller blips. Chattier — pick this if you want Mira watching closely.

If Mira is alerting too often, drop sensitivity. If she feels too quiet, raise it.

Sensitivity affects scans, not chat

Sensitivity only changes what Mira surfaces on her own. You can still ask her about anything in chat at any time, no matter how she's tuned.

Max insights per day

A hard cap on how many findings Mira is allowed to push to your inbox per day, between 1 and 10. The default is comfortable for most tribes. Lower it if you want a tighter inbox; raise it if you'd rather see everything.

When she has more than your cap allows, Mira keeps the most actionable findings and drops the rest.

Saving your changes

Click Save preferences at the bottom of the page when you're done. You'll see a confirmation toast. Changes apply on the next scheduled briefing or anomaly scan — anything already in flight finishes with the previous settings.

A typical setup

For most artists, this works well:

  1. Daily briefing on.
  2. Briefing time 08:00 in your local timezone.
  3. In-admin banner + inbox on. Email digest on if you check email more than the dashboard.
  4. Anomaly sensitivity Medium.
  5. Max insights per day 5.

Try it for a week, then adjust. If you find yourself ignoring the email but reading the banner, turn email off. If insights pile up unread, lower the cap or sensitivity.

What happens to old briefings

Every finding Mira ever surfaces — from a briefing or from a between-briefing scan — lives forever in your Insights inbox. You can filter to Pending, Acknowledged, or Dismissed at any time.
