Managing your plan

View your current plan, switch to a different one, and manage your payment method and invoices through the customer portal.

Your plan is what unlocks the rest of TribeNest — which areas of the dashboard you can use and how much of each feature is included every month. The Billing page is where you see what you're on and change it whenever your needs change.

Where to find it

Open Billing in your dashboard. The page is split into a few stacked sections:

  • Email credit packs at the top (covered in email credits).
  • Purchase history for credit packs you've bought.
  • Your current plan — what you're on right now and a button to manage it.
  • The plans grid — every plan you can switch to, with monthly and yearly pricing.

Viewing your current plan

The Your current plan card tells you three things at a glance:

  • Which plan you're on — the plan name and the billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
  • When the current period ends — the date your plan renews or, if you're on a free trial, the date the trial ends.
  • How to manage it — a Manage Subscription button that opens the secure customer portal in a new tab.

Free trials show up here too

If you're inside a free trial, the card calls that out and shows when the trial expires. You can pick a paid plan from the grid below at any time during the trial — you won't lose the trial days you haven't used.

Changing your plan

The plans grid lives below your current plan card. Each plan shows its own name, a short description, the price for the cycle you've selected, and the list of what's included.

To switch plans:

  1. Toggle Monthly or Yearly at the top of the grid. Yearly shows the percent you'd save versus paying month-to-month, and the crossed-out monthly price for comparison.
  2. Find the plan you want. The card highlighted as Most Popular is the one most artists pick — but the right plan is the one that fits your features and limits.
  3. Hover the small info icons next to each included feature to read exactly what's covered.
  4. Click Choose Plan on the card.
  5. Complete the secure checkout in the new tab that opens.

When checkout finishes, you're brought back into TribeNest with the new plan active. The plan you're now on shows as Active Plan in the grid (the button is disabled so you can't accidentally pay for the same plan twice).

Yearly vs monthly counts as a different plan

Switching from a monthly subscription to the yearly version of the same plan — or the other way — goes through the same checkout. The grid will show Active Plan only on the exact plan and cycle combination you're currently paying for.

What each plan includes

Every plan card shows its own list of included benefits with a green checkmark next to each. Some benefits have an info icon next to them — hover that icon for the longer description.

Because the plans grid is generated from the latest pricing, the doc deliberately doesn't repeat the feature list here — open the Billing page to see the most current version.

If you click into a part of TribeNest that isn't covered by your current plan, you'll see a dialog explaining what's locked and offering a one-click jump to the Billing page so you can upgrade.

Managing your subscription, payment method, and invoices

Once you have an active paid plan, the Your current plan card shows a Manage Subscription button. This opens the secure customer portal in a new tab, where you can:

  • Update the card on file.
  • Download past invoices and receipts.
  • Cancel your subscription at the end of the current period.
  • Change billing details like your name and address on receipts.

The portal is the same across every plan — it always reflects what you're paying for in TribeNest right now.

Cancelling doesn't cut you off mid-cycle

If you cancel from the customer portal, you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. The current period end date is shown on the Your current plan card.

Confirming a checkout

After you finish checkout, TribeNest spends a moment confirming your subscription with the payment provider before unlocking the new plan. You'll see a brief Confirming your subscription… screen, then you're returned to Billing with everything updated.

If anything is slow, you don't need to do anything — confirmation is automatic and the page will update on its own.

Free trials

Some plans include a free trial. When a plan offers one, its card shows a small badge in the top-right corner with the trial length (for example, 7-day free trial).

A few things worth knowing:

  • The trial days are enforced behind the scenes — you'll see the exact trial expiry date on your Your current plan card the moment the trial starts.
  • You won't be charged until the trial ends.
  • You can switch to a different plan during the trial — the new plan takes effect immediately.

When you hit a plan limit

If you try to use a feature your current plan doesn't include, or you cross one of its monthly limits, you'll see an upgrade dialog. It tells you which feature is locked and offers a single button that takes you straight to Billing so you can switch plans.

You can also dismiss the dialog and come back later — it's a prompt, not a block on the rest of your dashboard.
