Contacts

See everyone who has interacted with your social automations and what brought them in.

The Contacts page is your roster of every fan who has touched a social automation — who they are on each platform, where they are in the flow right now, what brought them in, and anything they have shared along the way (like an email or phone number).

Find it under Social then Contacts.

What lands here

Contacts get created the moment a fan enters one of your automations. That could be:

  • Commenting a keyword that triggers a comment-based flow.
  • Following the account.
  • DMing the account when a DM trigger is set up.

Each contact is unique per platform identity — the same person across two different platforms shows up as two contacts.

The contacts table

Every row in the table shows:

  • Contact — avatar, display name (or handle), and the platform.
  • Status — where the fan is right now in the flow:
    • Active — currently being processed.
    • Waiting — paused on a Wait for Reply or Wait for Click.
    • Completed — finished a flow.
    • Failed — the flow errored out.
    • Timed out — a wait timed out and the flow stopped.
  • Current step — the label of the node they are on (e.g. "Wait for Reply", "Validate Input").
  • Automation — the most recent flow they touched, plus the first one that brought them in (if it is different).
  • Last seen — how recently they were active.

Click any row to open the contact's detail page.

Contact detail page

The detail page has everything TribeNest knows about that person:

The fan's avatar, display name, handle, platform, and current status. If the platform tells us they are verified, you will see a Verified badge.

Submitted info

If the fan ever sent you their email or phone number through a Validate Input node in one of your flows, it shows up here as a clickable link. This is the most useful section for giveaway draws and follow-ups.

Platform-specific profile

For Instagram contacts, you will also see:

  • Followers — their follower count.
  • Follows you — whether they follow your account.
  • You follow them — whether your account follows theirs.

These fields only render when the platform shares them.

Current state

Three info cards across the top:

  • Currently — the node they are sitting on right now (or "No active step" if they finished).
  • Latest automation — the most recent flow they touched, with a link to it.
  • First brought in by — the original flow that introduced this person to your audience, with a relative timestamp.

Recent runs

A timeline of every time the contact entered an automation, with the flow's name, when it started, when it ended (if it has), and the run's final status.

Click any automation in the timeline to jump to its detail page.

Contacts inside an automation

When you open an automation's detail page, the Contacts section shows the same table — but scoped to just the people who have entered that one flow. The Automation column is hidden because it would be the same on every row.

This is the right view for things like:

  • Picking giveaway winners (use the Pick giveaway winners button to draw randomly from completed entries).
  • Reviewing who has not finished the flow yet.
  • Spotting failed runs.

Looking up a fan

There is no global search bar yet. To find a specific fan:

  1. Open the Contacts page.
  2. Use the table's pagination to scroll through.
  3. Or — if you remember which automation brought them in — open that automation and scan its scoped contacts.

For everyone who has shared their email through an automation, also check your email lists — that is where the Add to Email List action sends them.
