Comments

Triage comments on your posts — reply inline, hide, or remove them, all from one place.

The Comments page lets you work through every comment on every connected post without opening the platform apps. Reply, hide, or delete — all from one screen.

Find it under Social then Comments.

Supported platforms

Comments come through for posts on:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • X / Twitter
  • Bluesky
  • Threads
  • YouTube
  • LinkedIn
  • Reddit

Other connected accounts will not appear in the account filter on this page.

Layout

Two columns:

  • Posts with comments on the left — every post that has at least one comment, sorted by your filter choice.
  • Comments thread on the right — every comment on the selected post, with reply, hide, and delete actions.

Above both columns:

  • An account filter to scope to a single connected account, or All accounts.
  • A sort filterNewest first or Most comments.

When you land on the page, the most recent post (or the post with the most comments, depending on the sort) is opened automatically.

Posts list

Each post tile in the list shows:

  • A thumbnail of the post image.
  • The platform and the handle that posted it.
  • The first couple of lines of the caption.
  • A comment count and a like count.
  • A timestamp of when the post went out.
  • A small external link icon to jump to the post on the platform.

Click any tile to load its comments on the right.

Comments thread

The right panel opens with the post's header (image, caption, counts, link to the original) and then lists every comment.

Each comment shows:

  • The fan's avatar, name, and handle.
  • A You badge if the comment was posted by your account.
  • A Hidden badge if the comment is currently hidden.
  • The comment text.
  • Like count and reply count, if any.
  • A timestamp.

Below each comment you will see the actions you are allowed to take on it — these vary by platform. The most common are:

  • Reply — opens an inline reply box. Type your reply and press Enter (or click Reply) to post it as a nested response from your account.
  • Hide / Unhide — hides the comment from public view on the platform. Hidden comments stay visible to you in TribeNest with a Hidden badge.
  • Delete — removes the comment permanently. Most platforms only let you delete comments you authored — for fan comments, hide them instead.

If a comment offers no actions (because the platform does not allow them), you will see a small dropdown with an Open on platform link instead.

Top-level reply

The composer at the bottom of the thread posts a brand-new top-level comment from the post owner — useful for adding context, pinning announcements, or thanking commenters as a group. Type and press Enter to send.

Replying to a specific comment

  1. Find the comment you want to reply to.
  2. Click Reply under it. An inline reply box opens.
  3. Type your reply and press Enter.

The reply is posted as a nested response, and the inline box closes itself.

Hiding a comment

  1. Find the comment.
  2. Click Hide under it. The action toggles to Unhide and a Hidden badge appears on the comment.

Hidden comments stay visible to you in TribeNest so you can decide later whether to unhide or delete them.

Deleting a comment

  1. Click Delete under the comment.
  2. Confirm in the pop-up.

Most platforms only let you delete your own comments

If you try to delete a fan's comment and the platform refuses, hide it instead. Hidden comments are removed from public view without deleting them.

Empty states

  • No connected accounts — the page shows a Connect Account button that takes you to Connected Accounts.
  • No commented posts yet — the post list is empty until at least one of your posts gets a comment.
  • No comments yet — the post is selected, but no one has commented. Once they do, comments will appear here.
