Tracking

Connect your marketing pixels to your TribeNest site so your ad campaigns can measure the visits, sign-ups and sales they actually produced.

If you run ads to promote your music, merch, or tour, you want to know which ones actually work. Tracking is where you connect your marketing pixels to your site, so your ad platform can see what visitors do after they land, and you can spend on what is paying off.

Everything you set here fires on your published website. It pairs with Website analytics, which shows you the visitor numbers inside TribeNest with nothing to set up.

Opening tracking

Go to My Website then Tracking. You will see one card per marketing tool. Fill in the one you use and click Save.

Your site-wide pixel

The first card sets up a pixel for your whole site. A pixel is a small snippet your ad platform gives you so it can measure results. You paste a couple of details here and TribeNest wires it into every page for you.

  1. Paste your Pixel ID. Your ad platform shows this in its events dashboard, next to the pixel you want to use.
  2. If your ad platform gives you a Conversions API token for server-side measurement, paste it in. This lets results be sent reliably even when a visitor's browser blocks trackers. It is optional.
  3. Optionally add a Test event code while you are setting things up. With a code in place, your events show up only in your ad platform's test view, so you can confirm everything is flowing before you go live. Clear it out once you are happy.
  4. Click Save.

One pixel covers your whole site

You only need a single pixel for the entire website. Once it is saved it works across every page: your home page, products, blog, and everything in between. Sales are attributed automatically, so you do not need a separate pixel per product.

Keep your token private

Your token is a secret, so treat it like a password. TribeNest stores it securely and never shows it back to you. Once it is saved the field simply notes that a token is configured. Leave it blank to keep the one you already saved, and only paste a new value when you want to replace it.

Tracking one page on its own

If you send a campaign to one particular page, a single release link or a landing page built for one ad, you can give that page its own pixel instead of using your site-wide one. Handy when you keep different campaigns in different ad accounts.

In the Custom Page card:

  1. Enter the Page path you want to track, the part of the address after your domain, like /new-song-link.
  2. Paste the Pixel ID and the CAPI token for that page. Both are required here, along with the path.
  3. Optionally add a Test event code, just like above.
  4. Click Add page.

Each page you add appears in a list with a switch to turn it on or off, and a trash icon to remove it. Page views send a page-view event and tracked clicks send a lead event, with the token kept safely on our side rather than in your site's code. Toggle a page off when a campaign wraps up without losing its setup, or delete it entirely when you are done.

How this connects to analytics

Tracking and analytics work as a pair.

  • Tracking, this page, feeds your visit and sale data back to your ad platform, so your campaigns can measure and optimise themselves.
  • Analytics shows you the same story inside your TribeNest dashboard, with nothing to set up.

You do not need a pixel to see your analytics. The pixel is only for feeding data back to the platforms you advertise on.
