Business Address

The Address tab is where you set the address TribeNest uses for everything legal and logistical: your invoices, the country you can take payments in, and the return address on shipping labels you buy.

Only the workspace owner sees this tab. If you're a team member without owner access, it's hidden for you. For more on roles, see team.

Why your address matters

Your address isn't just a formality. It unlocks several other things:

• Payments. Your country decides which card processors you can connect on the payment setup tab.
• Invoices. The address shows up on receipts and tax documents fans receive after purchases.
• Shipping labels. Physical merch can't ship until your address is filled in, because a label needs a return address. See the store.
• Tax compliance. It gives you the paper trail you need when it's time to file.

Until you fill this out, other parts of the dashboard will keep pointing you back here.

How to set your address

1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
2. Click the Address tab.
3. Pick an Address Type, either Individual or Company.
4. Fill in Street Address, City, State/Province, the postal code field and Country.
5. Add a Phone Number if you want one on file.
6. Click Save Address Configuration.

A confirmation appears when it saves.

Address type

• Individual. Pick this if you operate as yourself, with no registered company. Most solo artists start here.
• Company. Pick this if you have a registered business entity that owns your work.

You can switch between the two later if your situation changes.

Country

Pick the country your address is in from the dropdown. This one field does more than it looks: it decides which card processors you can connect, which currencies you can charge in, and how the rest of the form is validated.

Postal code

For most countries the field is labelled Postal Code, is optional, and accepts whatever format your country uses.

If your country is the United States, the label changes to Zip Code, the field becomes required, and it's checked more strictly:

• At least 5 digits
• In the standard format, either five digits or five digits, a hyphen and four more

A hint under the field reminds you of that while you're typing.

Phone number

Optional. Some card processors and shipping carriers want a contact number on file. If yours does, you'll be asked again later, so filling it in here is one less thing to do down the line.

Editing your address

Open the Address tab again, change any field and save. The new address takes effect immediately and applies to:

• All future invoices and receipts
• The return address on any shipping label you buy from now on
• The address your connected card processor sees the next time it checks

Invoices and labels that already went out keep the address that was current when they were issued. TribeNest doesn't rewrite history.

What happens if you leave it blank

Until you fill in at least the street, city, state and country:

• The Payment tab shows a note pointing you back here before you can connect anything.
• Publishing a physical product warns you that you can't buy shipping labels yet. See the store.
• Your invoices and receipts go out without a "from" address, which is bad for trust and worse for taxes.

In short: fill it in early, even if it's just your home address as a solo artist.
